WHAT IS RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process offered to adults who would like to become fully initiated into the life of the Roman Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. It is a step-by-step process of learning about the Catholic faith and of opening oneself to friendship with Christ within the context of the parish life.
Participants of RCIA/Adult Confirmation must be non-Catholics or baptized Catholics who have not received First Communion and/or Confirmation. They fully commit themselves to attending weekly sessions, weekly bible reflections, and days of recollection with fellow participants.
