Ordination to the diaconate is the last major step in a seminarian’s journey to the priesthood. We praise God for our seminarians’ fidelity to grace in responding to God’s call for their life. Join us in praying for our seminarians’ continued path to priesthood.

The next Transitional Diaconate Ordination will be that of Sean Jacob, to be celebrated at Cristo Rei in Mississauga.
Other recent transitional diaconate ordinations include Matthew Wang, CDD and John Wang, CDD (ordained June 17 for a religious order, the Congregation of the Disciples of the Lord) Michael El-Nachef (ordained May 6 for the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall).
We congratulate all the new Deacons and wish them well, as they further prepare to join the priesthood.
