On Friday, May 82026, at 7:00 p.m., the Senior Choir of St. Michael’s Choir School will join the choirs of Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts for a special choral concert here at the Cathedral. This partnership between two of the finest school Choirs in Toronto, titled Salve Regina, is a particularly meaningful one – both organizations are excited to bring this collaboration to life for the very first time. What better occasion to do so than during the month of May, traditionally dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The program will take on a Marian theme, with repertoire thoughtfully selected to honour Our Lady through sacred works that reflect the beauty and devotion of this season. Works such as Biebl’s Ave MariaAve Maris Stella by Grieg, and Ave Verum by the Choir School’s Mr. Joshua Tamayo, highlight sacred music selections that celebrate Spring and our Holy Mother.

All are welcome; this concert will be offered on a freewill donation basis, with proceeds forwarded to both schools.
