Greetings to all the parishioners of St Michael’s Cathedral Basilica. As I begin my role as Rector of this sacred Cathedral, I am humbled, honoured, and excited about the opportunity to accompany you on a spiritual journey as we strive to deepen our relationship with the Lord and the Church.  I would like to express my gratitude to His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo for the appointment as well as for his leadership, guidance, and witness. My sincerest thanks to Fr. Frank Portelli for his exceptional work as Rector. My time here has been made comfortable by the wonderful priests and staff. May God bless all of them.

As we continue our journey in faith, whether through the Sacraments, the Ten Commandments, prayer, meditating on scriptures or the lives of the saints, may it deepen our love for God and neighbour. In a special way, may we share the light of Christ with those who experience isolation and desolation. During this Jubilee Year, may we continue to be “Pilgrims of Hope”, believing in and living out the promises of our gracious Lord.

Be assured of my fervent prayers for each and every one of you.
