Our Holy Week & Easter 2021 schedule is listed below. Registration will be required for Masses/Services marked with * and will be available on Eventbrite starting Friday, March 26 at 9:00 AM. All services will also be livestreamed from our website.

Confession Schedule

Tuesday, March 30:
5:00 to 6:00 PM

Wednesday, March 31:
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Thursday, April 1:
12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM

There will be NO CONFESSIONS from Thursday, April 1 at 3:00 PM until Wednesday, April 7, when our regular confession schedule resumes.


Mass Schedule

TUESDAY, MARCH 30 – CHRISM MASS

11:00 AM – Celebrant & Homilist: Archbishop Cardinal Thomas Collins

This Mass will be closed to the public and livestreamed only.
The Cathedral will be closed from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There will be no 12:10 PM Mass on this day.
7:30 AM and 5:30 PM Masses will be celebrated as usual.


WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31 – TENEBRAE*

7:30 PM – Cathedral Vespers Choir | Celebrants: Rev. Frank Portelli, Rev. Jeremias Inoc, Rev. Joshua Lobo, Rev. John Sutka

Weekday Masses will be celebrated as usual on this day.
The Cathedral will open at 6:30 PM for those registered for service.


THURSDAY, APRIL 1 – MASS OF THE LORD’S SUPPER*

5:30 PM – Celebrant & Homilist: Archbishop Cardinal Thomas Collins
Following Mass until 10:00 PM – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament**

This will be the only Mass on this day.
The Cathedral will be open for private prayer from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:30 to 10:00 PM.
The Cathedral will close at 3:00 PM and reopen at 4:30 PM for those registered for Mass.


FRIDAY, APRIL 2 – THE LORD’S PASSION*

3:00 PM – Celebrant & Homilist: Archbishop Cardinal Thomas Collins

This will be the only service on this day.
The Cathedral will open at 2:00 PM for those registered for service.
The Cathedral will remain open for private prayer until 10:00 PM.


SATURDAY, APRIL 3 – EASTER VIGIL MASS*

9:00 PM – Celebrant & Homilist: Archbishop Cardinal Thomas Collins

This will be the only Mass on this day.
The Cathedral will be open for private prayer from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
The Cathedral will open at 8:00 PM for those registered for Mass.


SUNDAY, APRIL 4 – EASTER SUNDAY MASSES*

8:00 AM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. John Sutka

10:00 AM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. Frank Portelli

12:00 Noon – Celebrant and Homilist: Archbishop Thomas Cardinal Collins

Please note only the 12:00 Noon Mass will be livestreamed on this day.

The Cathedral will close following the 12:00 Noon Mass to accommodate a private service for the Sacraments of Initiation for RCIA candidates.


MONDAY, APRIL 5 – EASTER MONDAY MASS (Registration not required)

10:00 AM – Celebrant & Homilist: Rev. Jeremias Inoc

This will be the only Mass on this day and will be first-come, first-seated.


* Mass by registration only on Eventbrite.

** Registration is not required for Eucharistic Adoration and Private Prayer, however as capacity is restricted, there may be a wait time to enter the church.
