Below is the schedule for confessions and Masses over the Christmas season.
Confession Schedule
The regular confession schedule will continue from December 1 until December 23, 2024.
There will be no confessions from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 to Friday, January 3, 2025.
Regular confession schedule will resume on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
All Masses are first come, first seated.
We recommend arriving one hour before each of the Choral Preludes on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day and The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God are Holy Days of Obligation.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2024 – CHRISTMAS EVE
Cathedral will close after 7:30 AM Mass. There will be no 12:10 PM Mass. Cathedral will reopen at 3:00 PM.
5:00 PM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. Frank Portelli, Music: St. Michael’s Choir School – Elementary Choir
7:15 PM – Choral Prelude
8:00 PM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. Cole Powers, Music: St. Michael’s Choir School – Senior Choir

12:00 Midnight – Celebrant and Homilist: His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo, Music: St. Michael’s Choir School – Senior Choir. This Mass will be livestreamed on our website.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2024 – CHRISTMAS DAY
Cathedral will open at 7:00 AM and close at 2:00 PM.
8:00 AM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. Kevin Adriano, Music: Cantor & Organist
9:30 AM – Choral Prelude
10:00 AM – Celebrant and Homilist: Rev. Frank Portelli, Music: Cathedral Vespers Choir
12:00 Noon – Celebrant and Homilist: His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo, Music: St. Michael’s Choir School – Junior Choir. This Mass will be livestreamed on our website.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2024 – FEAST OF ST. STEPHEN
Cathedral will open at 9:30 AM and close following the 10:00 AM Mass.
The only Mass today.
10:00 AM – Celebrant: Rev. Frank Portelli
Daily Masses will follow our regular schedule from Friday, December 27 to Tuesday, December 31.
There will be no Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday December 31.
