As we continue our journey through Ordinary Time, the Lord invites each of us to place our burdens into His loving hands. In the midst of our busy lives, summer travels, and family gatherings, Christ offers us true rest and peace.

May this summer season be an opportunity to deepen our relationship with the Lord through prayer, the celebration of the Eucharist, and acts of charity toward one another. Let us entrust our families, our parish community, and our nation to God’s loving care, asking for the grace to be faithful disciples and joyful witnesses of the Gospel.

A few simple ways to live out our discipleship:

  • Visit an elderly family member, neighbor, or relative.
  • Enjoy the outdoors and thank God for His creation.
  • Read the gospel passage of the daily

Mass and spend time reflecting on it.

  • If you have a favorite saint, read about their life and seek their intercession.
  • When possible, volunteer at a soup kitchen or with an organization that serves the poor.

Please remember in your prayers all who are sick, those who are homebound, and all who have died, especially those who have gone to the Lord this past week.

St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
