This year’s Christmas Gift Drive will support two organizations that bring light and compassion to our community — the Society of Sharing (SOS) and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) — reaching 350 people in need this Christmas.

Through your monetary donations, we will:

·        Fill 150 gift bags with essentials and food items for isolated and homebound seniors served by the Society of Sharing, and

·        Provide 200 grocery gift cards for families and individuals supported by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

A tax receipt will be emailed early in the new year for all donations $25 and above.

The Society of Sharing is a non-profit organization that mobilizes volunteers to serve isolated, housebound, and lonely seniors in Toronto’s inner-city since 1981. The agency’s goal is to reduce social isolation, promote social connection and improve the well-being of seniors so they may remain connected in their communities and are able to live independently in their own homes. https://societyofsharing.org/

For over 170 years, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has provided outreach to the poor and supports those in need through various programs. Their diverse outreach addresses food insecurity in local communities, and includes professionally run shelters, recovery programs, summer camps and much more. https://ssvptoronto.ca/

Your generosity—whether given online or in person using the Christmas Gift Drive envelopes—will help bring the warmth of Christ’s love to others this Christmas.
